There was a lot of comments with different opinions about what it could be the reason of the damages in this coin. I was watching some videos about mint production and I Saw an image of the Leftover scrap and some pieces are very similar to the shape in this coin. Could it be this the reason of it? This does appear to have happened during the strike, seeing how the rim is not bulging outwards and no metal welling to at the edges of this anomaly, combined with that the reverse is relatively undamaged.
