Are Those Striations Line Or Lightly Brushed/Polished Being Done On The Nickel? (1938 D)

panzaldi Bedrock of the Community United States 18714 Posts	Posted 03/13/2023 11:14 am the coin would not grade straight. it has been cleaned and polished. what a shame as it was higher grade all the original surface have been removed and notice the hairlines across the face. Zurie Pillar of the Community United States 5685 Posts	Posted 03/13/2023 11:27 am I'd say AU details, cleaned. But 38-D Buffalos in high grade are fairly common, so even if it was a straight-graded MS-65, it wouldn't be worth getting it graded. Report this Post to the Staff
