Unable to fully evaluate because your photos are overmagnified beyond the 800x800 pixels the board recommends. Please use a size of 800x800 or so because that tends to make a sharper image, and works with more equipment which allows more members to participate.

I 100% agree. I resized them to 800 but it didn't make any difference in quality.

Quality is good enough in this case though, it's just a stained, environmentally damaged coin.

Speaking only for myself, image dimensions are fine. Appears the coin has picked up some dark 'crud'. For fun, suggest giving the coin a long soak in 100% acetone--might eliminate or reduce the crud.

I had already edited them, they were about 2600 pixels square which is serious overkill.

If you look closely at the obverse, it was mauled by a Ring of Death from the P all the way up through Trust.

thanks for the resize, Forum Dad, as now I can see more than just the left quarter

the black gunk looks like tar, acetone might clear it but that will still be a damaged coin
