All info welcome of this Longcross Penny Henry III Diam.: 18 mm/ weight : 1,27 gr. / silver Legenda rev. : ( ?) IE ON V Mint and moneyer unknown Coin found in The Netherlands
Being new to the UK coinage, I can guess it's a Class 4 or 5 and can't tell the mint. Waiting on the experts to chime in, my book photos aren't sharp enough to tell, and I'd like larger photos as well. These are really neat coins from the early 1200's and an excellent find I'd say regardless what the class or mint is. Well done. Was found by metal detector or some other way?
