oih82w8- you haven't purchased a RedBook since 1983? hmmm, how have you gotten by without one? I presume that you just use other, more reliable guides.
I am lucky. One member of our coin club always buys 2 dozen Red Books each year and sells them at a coin club meeting at cost after postage. I just bought my 2010 hardback this past Tuesday for $8.75. It's one of the advantages of being in a club.

True. I've heard many people tell me that. I just purchased one hard cover for $10 and 2 ringed versions for $8 each at a coin show. No postage, handling, etc.
