Playing with my camera this morning and I would appreciate your opinion on the grade of this 1944 Victory Nickel and ways I could improve on the pictures. This Nickel has all the luster but it is hard to capture. Here are 4 photos of the same coin.
Thanks for your opinion!

MG

Mint state for sure - tough to put a sheldon score on it but easily MS-64. Possibly higher? Caveat, I have relatively little experience with this series and with nickel in general.

I think at least 65 as well and think a case could be made for 66. Cheek and eyebrow both look like a touch of wear but I think it's just planchet. Great pics!

Great pictures, they show details well and are excellent for details, but since you asked, I suggest you try taking photos at an angle also, which will help show the lustre.
(other posters for grading take note)- Most single dead-on photos posted for grading aren't anywhere near as good, and we usually need multiple angles to determine a grade.
Here are 2 examples that look extremely different depending on the angle of the camera or light.

Dead-on on photos can hide a lot.

This one was going in the damaged/junk bag until I tilted it.

viper That is one beautiful 1944 Victory nickel. I would say MS-64+, appears to have a few rim and obverse nicks. Would love to have it in my collection.

Nice coin and excellent photos Viper. I think it would be at least MS 63. We used to vacation in Canada in the 60's and I would always take any of the V nickels that I found back home with me. (Also a lot of silver).
