Best way is to stop using them and grab one of the other free image processing apps.

I don't use Pixlr Image Optimizer at all, I just use the default image viewer on my computer to crop and resize images.

I tend to use the CCF image optimizer (as linked by Errers & Varietys) specifically for cropping coin pics, but there are cropping tools on my phone and sometimes I use those. Never used Pixlr AFAIK.
