This penny is not within the required range +/- .13 of 3.11. I have no direction finding an estimated value. The contradictions in my research led me to throw my hands up in the air. I am beside myself. Since I am still learning, it gave me a misery. I would like an opinion that does not have reservations upon their opinion? I know I'm whining, apologizes.

Not an expert, by maybe a thin planchet and/or PMD like parking lot/road damage. Lot of flatness on right side obverse. Possible scale out of adjustment. I don't think it's mint damage at all. The real experts will be along soon.

@hum, first welcome to CCF. Second, I'm on team tapered planchet too. I'd save this one in a 2x2 for safekeeping, although I do note that the graffiti by the date hurts the value.

Agree with a tapered planchet. I'm not seeing any graffiti—perhaps a small lamination defect near the edge?
