If I could ask for your help once again. When you look at this quarter what are you looking for to determine whether it is MD, DDD, or actual DD. I know that I was told that if there was doubling on both sides that it would probably not be a DD, and I see the MD on the inside of the lettering but the outsides look completely different to me. Pardon my ignorance and thank you again.

Thank you so much for that link, so many variations to keep an eye ot for. I obviously need to do a lot more reading but one thing I got from this I think is that for now I should look at the coin not just straight on but from different angles so I can tell whether the doubling I am seeing is the same height and not sloping. thank you all for being patient with me.
