Also, the seller said that it's an improperly annealed planchet. There are traces of discoloration if you zoom in on the images, but I think that might just be PMD. What do you think? nfine Pillar of the Community United States 3479 Posts	Posted 04/13/2024 8:24 pm The damage (reed mark) to Sally Ride's cheek was caused by the edge of another quarter. That coin circulated for a bit so the discoloration could be toning or staining of some sort. Report this Post to the Staff
