saw one on ebay with this defect in exactly the same place. (yeah, I know. ebay is not a font of knowledge, or even reliable.)

any confirmation or comments?

I'm thinking there could be a possibility of it being real. An edge picture of the clipped area would confirm if it's real or not.

lol. not a purchase. I found it coin-roll hunting. my ebay comment might have been confusing. I was trying to find some sort of confirmation and I found the EXACT year and placement, so I thought it was pretty good confirmation...

oh, and thanks for the comment/looking at it. never got a clip before so I wasn't really sure what I was looking for. especially on one this small.

I'm pretty sure that having two clipped coins with the same date, mint, denomination, and clip location would be just a coincidence.

hmmm... wasn't really sure if that was the case. would it just be the position that would be coincidental?
