2005 2 dollar coin the D on the word dollar appears lower than the other letters and it looks wonky in general, in not very experienced with coins so wondering what's caused this

My general assumption, for Australian $2 coins that "look wonky", is that it's most likely a counterfeit coin, rather than some kind of mint error.

I think it looks like a lot of other $2 coins. Just checked a 2001, 2003, 2015, 2017 and a 2018. They all look to have a slightly "wonky" "D". I hadn't noticed that before - good pick up.
