I recived a 1996 Lincoln Cent today, that has a hole right near the right top of lincolns head, and some indentions in his forehead. Is this anything special, or just another crap coin ?

I bet someone tried to make a pendant out of it... and then discovered it was just a lame piece of zinc...

Any pics? I would venture to think the indentations are from the attempts to make a hole.

Sounds like damage, but it's really impossible to answer questions like this without an image of the coin. Errors and varieties are a very visually specific collectible. Without images, telling exactly what you have is impossible.
