I'm not so familiar with this serie, but after spending some time on the internet.. I guess I understand the variety I have bought here in the Netherlands as large date.. It seems now that I had a bargain... (paid €5,- = around CAD 7,40..)

In my opinion should this be the Small Date & Leaves variety with obverse 3.. Please correct me if I'm wrong..
Thanks..

You are correct with your observation but it may also look like the t in gratia is repunched with wrong t. Imo

You have an 1891 SD/SL Obv 3. And there is also the repunched T in Gratia. When we wrote the 2011 65th edition of Charlton for the Vicky varieties in the back, your coin is on p330. A normal '91 SD/SL we had at $75 Cdn in VG-8, which yours may be, but maybe a little higher or a little lower grade. The variety with the repunched T we had for $115. It's a keeper
