I never really thought about how the privy marked ASEs fit into the collecting world, as far as how it's classified. It exists, so I have it. I think the only one considered a variety is the 2008 rev of 07. I do have that one error I've posted about, I guess there are error ASEs or there, but pretty rare. Boba Debt Pillar of the Community United States 797 Posts	Posted 03/20/2025 1:55 pm Congrats This may sound weird but when I catch up a collection by filling in the gaps the I know the "excitement" phase of adding a new facet to my collection is over and then it moves into the annual maintenance phase, which is kind of boring I have also realized that it is very easy to catch up a collect every couple years When I used to deploy I would get "FOMO" which didn't have an acronym then But as I got older I realized the coin collecting is a slow paced hobby Edited by Boba Debt 03/20/2025 1:56 pm Report this Post to the Staff

It reorganized the listing for ASE into two sections: a) Bullion Strikes; b) Proof Strikes. The uncirculated [burnished] issues are listed with the bullion strikes. The new Red Book pages are larger (now 6" x 9") and they've increased the font size. GSID numbers have also been added. " Even a clock that's stopped is right twice a day.
