1917-S Obverse Walking Liberty Half Dollar - Grading Help

The details all still look really good to me, but I don't know about the weird line on the reverse. Judging by comparisons my optimistic guess would be VF or XF, but let me know if I'm wrong. It could make AU-50 to these old man's eyes of mine. Even if it only makes XF it is still a very nice coin to have! So, congrats are in order no matter what it grades! Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6399 Posts	Posted 06/06/2025 12:27 am Solid XF detail and the cleaning (if any) is minor. I'd give it an acetone soak if it were mine. Problem-free certified examples in XF sell for around $400 so you might consider getting it graded. Report this Post to the Staff
