wow, I guess I missed (overlooked) Capt. Billy's post above. I hope they are all safe up there. I went and left a message to them on their site.

It looks like the Dansco building is only 1200 feet from the vantage point taken on that video.

I just heard back from the family that runs Dansco's operations that they were spared from the recent Sumas floods! In their words:

"An incredible and miraculous situation, we had water in the building, but not much. A day of mopping and we are back to work."

This is so great to hear

Ya, that shop must be just ever so higher in elevation than where that river (creek) overflowed its banks. I had used Google maps and that Video Billy posted and measured only 1200 feet from the bridge to the Dansco store.

I guess the 2021 flooding was worse and is why it affected them.
