Great notes, NumisRob, walk2dwater and SchwarzerEinser!

I'm lacking in interesting world notes from the early '50's, but will share this 1953-C series $5 U.S. Legal Tender note. Fr#1535*, P-381c.

A US $2 note similar to @walk, but with a ton of circulation wear.

Those French designs are gorgeous @SchwarzerEinser
For 1951 I have this 200 Pesos (P-140a) from the Philippines which features President Manuel Quezon (who is later on their 20 Pesos):
How-Far-Back-Can-We-Go?---With-Banknotes!-Third-Edition
How-Far-Back-Can-We-Go?---With-Banknotes!-Third-Edition
https://en.numista.com/213226

My 2nd entry for 1951 is a One Rupee P-47 from Ceylon, featuring the queen's father, King George VI. I picked this note up with the 5 Rupees (I posted yesterday) from 1952. It is in much better shape (about Unc).

The back features an image of the moonstone steps flanked by guard stones in Polonnaruwa. I saw a nature show on Sri Lanka and this Buddhist temple featured & it looked like a possible "bucket list" destination for me, much like Angkor Wat.
