A bit world weary on this dime, but the inverted S is recognizable. It took a bump on the knob-S, which makes it look more dramatic than it really is. =P
The reference library has about 35 Mercury dime variety coins in total, with 9 being the 1945-S IMM. I also just picked up a couple more 1928 Large S dimes, although those are not particularly rare in circulated grades. At some point, I will pick up a 1945 Micro-S as well.
That number does not include the mint state or slabbed specimens of these varieties that I will submit for grading and/or attribution.
Someday, I will photograph these coins and make a little visual reference guide. But we just kicked off into gardening season, and that is going to consume a lot of free time for a while.
