Of course the NGC is higher grade. I've looked at the articles and tried to compare but it's kinda confusing . NGC is on the left in the image. I certainly did not want to go back into my Dansco and remove one of the four 'extras' that have been there since 1993. It just so happened that the extra 1972 is a V1, while the OG spot has a V3—this was long before the three varieties were known, at least to me. I had one spot left in the Lighthouse box and I was more attracted to this 1952 Germany 2.5 Europinos than the the Friendly Eagle.
