I agree. I saw the reverse first and knew it was a Wheat cent.

That's a fun find, Errers! It certainly brightens my day when I get a wheatie, although it's been quite a while since that happened.

They're still out there! I hate 1944's. lol I used to buy 5000 ct bags from my dealer all the time and there was always a TON of 1944's in them.

I have a full box of mostly common date Wheat Cents that I rolled up. I also have a bag filled with mostly common date Wheat Cents as well. I thought about unloading them at my local coin shop, if they'll take them.  I've got way too many now.

I still have 55 of these that I got from a bulk purchase of wheat cents in the UK many years ago. The highest number of spare wheat cents that I have are the 85 1943 Philadelphia cents. I have just over 700 wheat cents that I consider to be spare.
