Detached & retained struck through inner rim die shaving/crack fragments post double-strike / Machine Doubling?

What a mouthful, but that's my best guess as to what this is!

Edit: Added nickel to topic and removed mis-aligned die reference, that was a different nickel... Perhaps the fragment above "FIVE" migrated there between strikes from the obverse at the date?...

There's a lot to go through with this one, MintedNotPrinted.
I think that K11 on the obverse is just a couple of scrapes.
What's going on with the O of Monticello?
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

I was able to get a close(er) up shot of the K11 feature with better definition, it is a half-struck through flake of the inner rim. The left side is struck into the field, and the right side is raised and casting a shadow.

Edit: The O (and other characters), severe die wear and Machine Doubling, in my opinion. Apologies for cropping out the "I"

Final Edit: I found my 1964-D and 1970-D which exhibit a similar but more intense "flaking", which appears more cud-like (albeit not scattered in the field). I could post an example pic of that here, or in a new thread, unsure of etiquette. I'd love to finally figure these out.

Interesting nickel MNP - lots going on, Maybe some scrap metal parts entered the striking chamber and was struck onto it.
