What can anyone tell me about a 1942 Lincoln Wheatback with no mint mark. Is it anything significant, or just something a regular occurance. Not familiar with coins, but found this in my change and was curious.

Coins minted in Philadelphia before 1980 generally don't have a mint mark. One-Cent coins currently minted in Philadelphia still do not have a mint mark.
