It seems to be a depiction of the Liberty Tree of colonial era, but perhaps it is just an ordinary tree. Anybody's guess. If you can tell me any more about it, I'd love to hear it. vermontensium Moderator United States 16681 Posts	Posted 01/11/2010 11:20 pm It's definitely not Colonial as evident by the design elements as well as the perfect round shape. I would put all my money on a copper or bronze composition, Grade would be approx. VG10 IMO. I really like the woven pattern on the reverse! Just to be clear, I didn't think that the medal was from the colonial era, just that it might be a depiction of the Liberty Tree. Probably not. I'd just like to know something more about this medal. Referred to as a Guatimoc token from Mex. 1911 Also "coffee tree" token I found & lost another site, a metal detecting one with your rev. I'll try to find it.
