Picked up this Ike as a "RAW" 004/021 a few months ago.

Sent it in along with a few other coins a couple of weeks ago to ANACS.

Got it back a few days ago.

ANACS:
1971 S DDO-004/ DDR-021 Mint State 66

Now THAT'S a fine score Chuckster! I love the 4/21...such a beautifully doubled coin.

Thanks!

Only one coin I like more than this one for doubling.

I have a *1971D DDO-001/DDR-001 RDV-006 Friendly Eagle that
graded out MS63 from ANACS.

* Probably my favorite Ike of all*

That's a great doubled Ike. I like the doubling on the eagle's eye - it makes it look like it has baggy eyes from no sleep. I guess flying to the moon takes a lot of energy.

@Jack - nice pickup! Hard to beat nice Ikes like those.

I'm not a big Ike collector (yet), but I picked up a few more through my mint set addiction, so I thought I would throw them up here. Maybe they are some rare variety.
Actually a bit bummed on the obverse of both, but I love the reverse of both. I cherry pick the mint sets mainly for Lincolns, or if I find a FT Roosevelt, so the rest of the sets go into 2x2's and I get what I get. Sometimes they are awesome, most times not...

I have personal reasons to collect Ike , I think it's a amazing huge coin and it was minted on the decade I was born
There they are:
1 24k gold plated in a gift box
1 bicentennial proof set
1 1972 proof
4 blue 1971-72-73-74
Also a 1971 triple die observe
I need a toning one still , will be my next purchase for sure !
