Awesome jbuck. That is what I'm working on as well. Are you doing the proofs as well as the business strikes?
I will emulate the 8176, so a 32 coin set at minimum, but will probably add the two additional 1972 varieties (three total).

Again, this would be years from completion. I want to finish my other Dansco albums first. This was just a opportunity that presented itself.

I wanted to wait, but I could not contain myself!

I will post new pictures when I get them, probably a group shot or something.

The proofs can be tough and quality is all over the place. I may do those one day if I can find a bulk deal on them.

I am certain that even when I do get to the point where I can devote more time to them, it is still going to take me a while. I am not in any hurry. My 8176 still gives me plenty of Ike-Joy.

I'm very excited about your next Ike set, jbuck. A full set in various TPG slabs would be cool too. Perhaps you might consider this?

I am considering it. As much as I want to do the Capital holder like yours, I am starting to feel like I can just leave them as is (in the slabs). Knowing that I already have a filled Dansco makes it easier to leave them be. Who knows what I will do. It will be years before it is done anyway. I have a 7070 and four other sets to finish!

Do know this, any fillers of those remaining Dansco holes coming in slabs will be cracked!

I love Brown & Blue Ikes! This will be my 2nd Blue, it joins 8 Browns in the coin cabinet.

That blue IKE look very clean, a possible high grade one?
Congratulation, paralyse.

I think it would pull a 66 TPG grade, but it's not going anywhere.

Nice, paralyse. I'm starting to collect some '74 coins since it's my birth year. Though I inherited a bunch of Ikes from my father, I bought my first one this week. It's a 74-s like yours, but it's a slabbed silver proof (69 DCAM). I have a thing for cameos.

Jbuck, I saw the two slabbed Ikes you recently acquired. Congrats on those, and nice to see you expanding your collection a little bit.

AlbumAccumulator, does that '76 have some light rainbow toning (top of the obverse and bottom of the reverse)? Either way, it's beautiful.
