I have the rhodium-plated Queen Elizabeth II Royal Cypher coin from Canada, and it's a very dramatic black. Not sure how ruthenium compares to it.

Very much like the photo of Ike and the Queen.

Not sure about the Ruthenium set. Interesting for sure, maybe if I saw it in hand. Now a Ruthenium with gold highlights (like proof frosting) would be amazing looking to me! Ike, definitely deserving of gold, and the eagle would look great this way IMO.
