I have a small coin, about the size of a nickle, but thinner, that's seems to have been issued by the sears company at some point. I will post a picture when I get home, but int he meantime, does anyone have any info on these sears coins?

Your token probably has the statue of Liberty on it. I worked at Sears in 1986 when she was being restored, and those tokens were glued to the front of the Christmas "Wishbook" for 1986. They contain about 1 percent original copper from the statue of Liberty, taken from scrap areas that were being replaced. I have one of those here somewhere.

I believe I have one of those - and have send a dozen or so back into "circulation" - well, into the bags from which I picked them. Thanks for the info, Chancellor Sutler.
