Bishftl, that's a nice one to find. Shame on someone who wrote "50" on the side but still the bill is in good shape.

Being in the margin it doesn't hurt the value near as much as it would elsewhere. Nice note.

And another bank find this morning...teller asked "you don't want this do you?..." Nice oily patina. I didn't not realize it was a star at a distance, only when I got in my car did I inspect and shout!

I got a 1976 series 2 dollar bill back in change at the grocery store today. It's probably not worth more than it's face value but it was still pretty cool to get one!

1995: Block E-R, VF
1995: Block F-M, F

Later, from the bill changer in the library:
1988A: Block E-B, VF-EF.

Does a red seal $2 star note carry much of a premium.
