Depends on serial and condition.

I received a 1969 $1 bill from a McDonalds cash register today. I should still have it, if I didn't accidentally spend it.

Edit: I did spend it. Should I have kept it?

Um, depends on serial number and condition, like usual, but chances are, it wasn't worth any more than $1.

A bank teller had some of these today. They are all either uncirculated or about uncirculated. Two of the 5's are from 1988, one is from 1993, and the rest are from 1995. As you can see, some of them have consecutive serial numbers. What do you think? Should I keep them, or try to sell them for a little profit?

Ummm....that was really inane but alright.

And at least have enough strength to type "McDouble." It's only 2 extra letters; seriously.

^^ Now, now, friends..lol

Anyway, DanMan, if you sell the bills, you probably won't get much profit from them, but they do seem too nice to spend : /

I found a Series 1950C $10 note at PNC today!

It is a bit banged up but has no noticable tears. I will post a picture later.

Thanks for all the input folks, glad to finally know that the "error" is an "on purpose".

I did find some magicians do this trick, maybe it was one of them that signed the back, and gave it away/spent it themselves. The rub mark right where the original was had me skeptical.

Nice silver! You could just trade them 2 quarters for 5 dimes.. Never know, sometimes finds come in groups!
