I got this ICG-AU55 Lombady 5 Lire recently with a average price of this type. But to my surprise it was marked in SWCC with KM#22.2,in other words it is long stem variety which has a prior price than KM#22.1 and KM#22.3.
But I was confused by this, anyone who can tell me is this one really scarer for collectors or not?

This is a really nice type of coin from the revolutionary provisional government of Lombardy.I had purchase a raw VF item for a friend of mine.Yours is a nice example but krause catalog is a little bit confused with the stem varieties.

My Italian catalog lists seven varieties for this coin. Combinations of short/long stem, thick/thin base, near/far star.

Yours is the most common variety: Short stem, thin base, far star.
