i was given a few dollar bills as a small gift a few years ago and was wondering if one was worth anything. any help would be appreciated.
Details: Plate Position Letters and Numbers - H2
Federal Reserve District Numbers - 2
Federal Reserve District Seal - B: new york
Series Date - 1977 A
Serial Number - B 15032421 *
Plate Serial Numbers - H1512
Good condition no tears, folds,discoloration, mark of any kind been kept in a plastic protection sleeve in a flat safe place.

Quite a discrepancy depending on condition:

VF20 - $3.50
UNC63 - $25.00

If the * is in the serial number that adds more value to the note

That is a question that can only be answered by the person with the note in hand when he/she met the person who would be willing to buy it.

To me, its value is one dollar, not a penny more. To someone else it might be worth framing, to yet another person it might be worth that $25 quoted to you earlier.

Like 'beauty'....'worth' is in the eye of the beholder....ask ten people, you'll get ten different answers.....you need to answer your question yourself.
