Gosh, I am not very good at grading these but - PF-64?

That really is a rockin coin! I'm not the best at grading proofs but I would also say PF-64.

Nice PF 63 doesn't really have the exraordinary eye appeal of a 64 those grades are seldom given to older proofs

I would say PF-63. There is a decent sized tcik mark on the arm on the Obverse, but the fields are very clean opn both sides. I think PF-64 is possible but not likely given the pieces from that era don't typically get those designations. If this was originally grade PF60-62 range, I think it's undergraded, though it's hard to say how much they'd take off for the arm tick.

PF63 would be a guess. The mottled toning probably keeps this from 64. Like mycrob stated, if it's a 62 then an upgrade seems possible.

Well I have 3-64 & 4-63. It is already PF63 ANACS. It is my understanding the ANACS grade conservatively. What are your thoughts on this?  |

Probably not worth the cost of it likely coming back PF63 again. What's the difference in price for a PF63 vs PF64 for this coin?

According to numismedia, the value jumps from $1,810 to $3,660 from PF63 to PF64.

Wow, more than doubles. Which means the grading companies will know that and be wary of giving this coin a PF64 unless it really deserves it, I think.

I could see it as a 63+ or a 64-, but 63 looks like an accurate grade based on eye appeal. Market grading would likely keep this piece out of a 64 holder.
