@specksynder, like I said, the beauty of this is everyone is different and getting to see different approaches is more than worth it.. we're getting good variety ! I like your card just fine, but the last time I was in San Antonia I got a big fat speeding ticket and had to pay it on the spot because I was one of "them Kaaanadean fellows from the north". "That's a long drive from kaaaanada, better slow down, here's your ticket, cash Mastercard or Visa"

I'm with WheezyDog, this contest affords great amusement value.

Glad to hear my postcard got there okay!

Any idea where I can find values on these, I've got quite a few of them and most of them were never used.

If you search on linen postcards you'll find galleries of examples that should give you some ideas of value. Large collections of new cards should actually be kept together as they tend to attract better prices in large lots. Single items going through our auctions bring from 2-5 dollars a piece depending on the mood of the crowd. Larger notated lots (information added) brings attention from antique shop dealers and so on and we've seen prices hit 6-10 dollars a card in those cases for lots in the 20-30 range. Like coins some cards are especially sought after, homework is best.

Those are nice linens mostly from the 1940's and 1950's with natural Western US places of interest.
You probably had a full or near full mint set before you mailed some off.

SilentAsian, These aren't for sale at this time, plus I don't have enough posts to be selling anything here yet. I'll keep you in mind if things change though.

wheezydog, These were my great-aunts and I've only got them because they were going to be tossed out!

All of them that were post marked were 1941, btw.

Some beautiful postcards here, wow!

I'm glad mine made it alright. Judging by the picture though it suffered a little along the way. How damaged did it look upon arrival? I hope not too bad.

Postcard is on the way Ugly!

Sorry about the delay, but I find it very difficult to "doodle" on purpose!
