Geocaching Contest
Rules: The first person to respond to the contest, who has 50 quality posts, who has not won "Geocaching" within the last 15 times, will receive a package containing fabulous prizes. You may choose one fabulous prize, then replace it with something of similar fabulousness, then you must hold the contest again and send the group of fabulous prizes to the next person. At any point, anyone can add an extra fabulous prize so that the next person will have even more fabulous prizes to choose from.
Here is one important rule - you have to trade for an item that is similar in fabulousness. You can't take out a silver half and replace it with a common date Lincoln Cent. You could take out a 1964 silver half and replace it with 2 1964 silver quarters, (but they must be kept together as one fabulous prize). Its really up to you to decide, but if all you have to trade is a sorta-fabulous item, then don't take a super-fabulous item, just take a sorta-fabulous item.
In summary: 1) Respond to the post (if you have 50 quality posts) 2) Receive a package of fabulous prizes 3) Pick ONE fabulous prize to keep for yourself 4) Add ONE similarly fabulous prize to the package 5) Hold the contest again and send the fabulous prizes to the next person 6) Please announce the prizes that are in the package when you receive it.

The new rule is a good idea. Just a thought that instead of sending the whole package all over the world, to reduce cost to the competition holder and reduce the risk of loss in transit, the winner could choose an item and just have that sent. The winner could then send the replacement item and the whole package could then move on to the next winner. Or is that getting too complicated?

Quote: to reduce cost to the competition holder It'd still be 2 separate packages sent by the holder. What if the 2nd winner is also a Darksider?

Proposed rule change for Level 2:
A person becomes eligible for Level 2 after they have successfully HOSTED (not just won) a round in Level 1, which includes delivery of the prize to the Level 1 winner.

PIF Level 1 From what I can tell, steve199 will start a new contest soon
PIF Level II From what I can tell, MtnCoinMan will start a new contest soon
Geocaching I consider this to be dead as the most recent winner has not posted for quite some time.

neat idea if it works the way I think
Let me see if I have this.
Level 1---steve199(the last winner) will start a contest, someone will win and receive a prize
Level 2---the winner will then start a new lvl 1 contest at some point.
Geocashing---(now dead) The first person who responds to a lvl 1 post, would win the geocashing venet, where the OP sent a package of goodies. The winner would choose a prize from those available and replace it with something of equal value. Pretty much a moving swap in/out package.
Seems someone ruined this by running off with the whole package and not sending it to the next winner?

Good point.
The PIF and Geo contests fizzled out a while ago.
