That's why I put in the statement that a 'none of the above' answer should be there - because that's what I would have answered. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 02/24/2011 10:25 am From the Machine Doubling on the mint mark (also in the same direction as the Machine Doubling) I discounted the coin as normal machine doubled. At first I thought it was a doubled die but after seeing the Machine Doubling on the mint mark I concluded it wasn't a doubled die. Report this Post to the Staff

They are WAY too thick for a normal hubbing. While there is Machine Doubling on the coin, it is also a class 6 doubled die. No doubt about it. Report this Post to the Staff

I was not referring to the master die doubling that shows on all 1944 cents to a certain degree or another. I was referring to the blatant class 6 doubled die ALONG WITH the Machine Doubling. This is a very bad example of "one or the other" because it's not. It's both. Report this Post to the Staff
