The second coin is a Philippines 1 Peso 1907 S. This was minted by the San Francisco mint for use in the Philippines. It is made of silver. I would grade this coin as a VF. The value of a VF coin is $10 according to Krause but it has a little over .5 ounce of silver in it. The Bullion value itself is $16. You can expect to sell it anywhere from $16 to $20 IMHO.

I'm curious as to the authenticity of the 8 reales... something doesn't look right... But I'm not an expert on these at all, just another humble opinion... I'm sure the experts will be around to ya soon... I hope I'm wrong...

IMHO, I'd say that the 1907-S grades VG. My experience has been that the market grading of world coins is generally more stringent than it is for U.S. coins. The 1907-S is not a scarce date, and it's probably not worth much over silver; maybe, $12 now.

The Pillar Dollar or eight reale coin looks good to me, but I've only owned a few of these over the years. It appears to me to be a VF coin that has surface issues or environmental damage, yet the overall appearance is not bad, I think. If genuine, I'd estimate its current value to be about $200. These are highly collectable, being colonial issues that often circulated in the U.S.
