Hey Harvey

Decent catch there. Seems like the C's are getting tougher
to come by though even in bullion. I still have that 60 and 61 Gem/Choice and I am not convinced that they are proofs. Ken Potter never got back to me and I have no info that can show proof attributes over a business strike B reverse. There has to be some diffs. in the devices. Even comparing these two coins to other non B reverse gem/bu coins in business strike shows that they are exactly the same. Guess they will forever sit in flips until the mystery is unraveled.
I graded them 66 and 67.

Hey Indian1, I would say that if the obverse of those pieces don't have mirror surfaces like the rev., they are buisness strikes . There has to be mirrors on BOTH sides to be a proof. Regards, Harvey
