There's no way to tell from your pic. I can tell that in that condition, it wouldn't be worth much. Sorry.

there's no way thats a doubled ear, I see exactly what you're seeing, thats PMD. even if it was, there would be very, VERY little value.

To be honest I dont think any type of picture will help its to damaged in the area to be able to judge it as a Double ear or not.

Quote: what is road rash Just another name for a "parking lot" coin. This coin probably spent a lot of time on the street.

Thank you for bringing this coin to the forum. GREAT PHOTOS! Once or twice I thought I found a doubled ear, but it turned out to be a trick of light on a bright AU coin and I really didn't know what to look for. But it is even tougher on a worn or damaged coin. The ear area is one of the first spots on Lincoln to be obliterated by wear. When I first saw your images I thought it was an example of one of those "hand made Y2K dies" (no such thing.... this is a joke on me... I took a lot of ribbing). If I may ask, what did you use to take the photos?

I used a Canon Sx30 IS and used a small handheld flashlight over it. Then I cropped it... Then I use imageenhancer.com to cut it down to 90 kb. Expect better photos later I just ordered a macro Lens Film (Its not a DSLR camera but its the closest thing to it that is reg. Digital. It was $399
