I would say MS-63 or 64. The surfaces look to be very smooth, but the luster seems to be impaired by a layer of light toning.

You are spot on. This coin has a light gold tone over-all.

Solid 64. Peace dollars need MONSTER luster and virtually no marks to get to 65 and I don't think this coin is quite there in either area. |

MS63 from the images. The strike hurts it a bit and the luster appears subdued. Still a very nice example though.
