Is that a 1976-S half dollar? Check that edge for the 40% silver. Can't tell from the pic whether it's proof or business strike.

I didn't take a photo of it, but one of my daughters and I yanked $22+ a mess of foreigns out of a reject tray last week. Mostly modern US quarters. I suspect the machine wasn't working properly.
