I often see TPG'ed coins being described by their (presumably reputed) sellers as "previously associated with the well-regarded Canadiana Collection", without any hint put in the comments section of the slab/pouch. Any idea what is this collection, and why no TPG-ers identified this on their slab/pouch? Also, any way to verify such claims? Regards! The HA Canadiana sale is mentioned right below the 1936 penny entry in my Charlton catalog, to describe the dot cent. It would have been really nice if the TPGs put a proper pedigree based on the sale on their slabs/pouches. Or if they were sold in slabs/pouches, and the catalog lists their certificate numbers, it might be easy to convince the TPGs to re-slab/re-pouch them with a "The Canadiana Collection" pedigree -- won't that be cool!
