The first one I think may have better obverse details, but has a large scuff beneath "In God" on the obverse. johnny54321 Rest in Peace United States 4849 Posts	Posted 07/12/2014 7:33 pm Ok, well here is the dilemma I am in. The 1st coin I had slabbed by ANACS. It slabbed XF40 damaged. As I want my slq set to be problem free, I decided to sell it. I sold it for $480. The 2nd coin is for sale as an NGC VF30. The seller is asking $540 for it, which is very high for a VF30. However, I feel the details on this coin are exceptional for the grade, and very close to XF, which is the minimum requirement for my SLQ set. Problem free XF 27-s coins are VERY expensive, many into 4 figure territory, or close to it.....and I am not Now I can overpay a bit for a very strong VF30....which might make the cut. or wait it out. thoughts? Do you think $540 is a fair price for the 2nd coin all things considered? Report this Post to the Staff

Greysheet in vf goes 240 and 750 in xf .. So I would wait until a more fairly priced 27s came along.. My 2 cents Report this Post to the Staff
