Is the date doubled? The left side of the 8 has me wondering. Not sure if it's change in coloration or doubling. Thanks for your help.

1968-1972 cents suffered a lot of machine damage during the strike. The 1973 cent show a stronger strike that may have solved the problem. (1973 cents has a higher rim)
