Paulsz Pillar of the Community Canada 2187 Posts	Posted 10/13/2016 3:14 pm The reverse definitely has a nice strike, but the obverse not so much. I think it's a business strike. The matte finish that you see is (I think) from dipping. The pictures also look like scans, which might be causing that dipped/matte finish look. Report this Post to the Staff

If they are photos under decent light, it's definitely been dipped so badly it would be called cleaned. Not a matte specimen, that's for sure.
