Need Help With Roman Coin Possibly Mislabeled Tacitus

Seeker55 Pillar of the Community United States 635 Posts	Posted 03/06/2018 6:18 pm This bronze coin weighs 4.68 g and measures 23 mm diameter. It's labeled "Tacitus, AD 275-276" but I can't find a match and this may be incorrect, nor can I make out much of the writing. I'll greatly appreciate any help. Report this Post to the Staff

Great attribution, for a coin that's difficult to read. I looked up the KA that is found in exergue and find that on the website given above it is listed as the mintmark for coins from Serdica, Tripolis, and Cyzicus (seems unlikely to me to be correct for all of these). I also read elsewhere that because this is before the monetary reform of Diocletian, KA could be a Greek translation of XXI, indicating the number of base denarii this coin is worth.
