Definitely a fake. For one thing, it should have a "Shallow N" reverse, which it does not. Date logo is all wrong as well.

100% fake. The bold N is the topper. All 1877 have a weak N

Though the news is bad thanks to all, at least I know never to sell these. Fortunately the money I lost represents the only mistake I've ever made when er, um, spending money, ah buying coins, or, well maybe not. OUCH
