Trying To Identify A Coin Or ? My Mother Found In Her Garden.

Mantaroc New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 06/18/2018 4:20 pm recently my mother found this in her garden and I'm trying to identify it. It's in pretty rough shape and I can make out the letters "USA" with maybe a "D3R" next to the USA. It looks like all US coins seem to spell out United State of America. The only thing I can determine from the back is it may be copper due to the corrosion. It is 7/8 inch in diameter just a hair larger than a normal nickel and about as thin as a dime. Do a Google image search on that phrase and you should find many similar items.
