I picked up this Morgan as a potential prize for an upcoming raffle for our coin club. Apparently this is how NGC adds VAM labeling to their newer holders. First time I've seen this.

What do you think about this particular coin, and is this VAM of any special interest to specialists? It seems like its features are very subtle. Not a Top 100 or Hot 50, I presume!

varslab is separate from NGC. It's a third-party service that accepts already slabbed coins and adds the variety sticker to the back. Think of it like CAC stickering for varieties.

I've used them before but their photos often leave much to be desired imo. Like what did they photograph for this one? You'd think the sextupled stars variety would have a photo of the sextupled stars.
