Hi - thanks for letting me join, apologies but I have no idea on how to use forums so please bear with me if I post incorrectly. I am after a little advice regarding a coin I have been given. Its 1808 George III Gold - House of Hanover I believe - Please feel free to comment - give your thoughts on the history / type / validity as I have no clue!! thanks guys

I don't know details on coins like yours. What I do know is that your coin shows signs of being cleaned / aggressively scrubbed with something so be aware of that.
